Plus, you can share photos, files, and messages instantly with any PalTalk user. If you want to chat without the video and voice features, you can always instant message and use PalTalk for real-time text chat. PalTalk operates with AOL, Yahoo, and ICQ, so you can see and chat with all your buddies using a single program. Finally, Paltalk includes 24-hour online help.

This instant messenger lets you create audio, video, or text chat rooms, or simply chat one-on-one. PalTalk lets you test your sound card, Webcam, and network connection. Adult chat rooms are hidden by default, and parental controls employ a password to change settings or block certain groups (both R and A groups are adult content). Even if you don't have a fast Internet connection, you may still find the program's integration of basic messaging services AOL, ICQ, MSN, and Yahoo useful for contacting all your buddies via one messenger. You also can call your friends PC-to-PC for free. However, your friends must join the PalTalk network before you can add them to your buddy list, and they may balk at filling out the registration form, which requires all fields.
